The Foundation deliver Healthy Lifestyle Interactive  presentations engaging more than 10,000 children and young people in 42 schools that are situated in Featherstone, Five Towns and the wider Wakefield District.

Beneficiary organisations include primary groups and secondary school and local community organisations.

The Foundation's Physical Activity programmes work with over 8,000 children and young people in the Featherstone, Five Towns and wider Wakefield District.

Featherstone ImpRovers Study Centre is based at the Big Fellas Stadium. It provides a modern learning environment for small groups and it's projects have a variety of purposes including those that contribute to raising standards in Literacy and Numeracy.

A partnership with the GMB Union as enabled us to engage with adults in the community by providing ICT courses and informal learning projects.

Pathways is an innovative programme that has grabbed the attention of young people who have been difficult to involve in the mainstream classroom sessions at their own schools. More than 100 young people including groups from the Youth Offending Team of Wakefield MDC/ Lincolnshire have been involved.

This year 40 young people who are not in education, employment or training have gained a Level 1 Sports Leaders UK Award .
