Monday 4th March 2013

Rovers Set to Launch New Official Website Story in brief:
In conjunction with Commercial partner 2and7 Limited and Beautiful Minds.......
Featherstone Rovers are pleased to announce they are continuing with their off field improvements with the launch of their new Official web site expected in May. Designed by the team at Beautiful Minds, the new site provides quick and easy access to information about all facets of the club.

Fans of the club will be able to access the latest pre-match interviews with players and coaches, purchase tickets online, watch matches online via the RoversTV pay per view service as well as purchase online match programmes to keep up with the latest news around the club. There will also be online promotions to allow fans who can't make every game to purchase tickets to three, four, five matches at a time which you can use for any home Kingstone Press Championship fixture.

Featherstone Rovers Members will have additional access to secure areas where they can pre-register for Challenge Cup and other premier tickets and take payment online.

Commercial partners will have the opportunity to promote their products and brands directly through the Official web site by allowing targeted advertising to potential customers and via the introduction of an online match sponsor that would see your 15 sec promotional video included in the RoversTV coverage and traditional DVD of the match. Business partners will also continue to be listed within a revised commercial section with the opportunity to promote products directly to fans and deep link into company web sites.

Featherstone Rovers Chief Executive Craig Poskitt said "This is yet another superb story on our Destination Super League journey, to maximise revenues and give our loyal supporters a fantastic service it is essential we have our own website run by our own people. Ged and Stuart are working tirelessly to enable the launch to happen as soon as possible and we thank them for that, we have so many projects going on at the moment and we are now ready to fund this transition. The website will become an integral part of our already sustainable business model that bodes well for the future."

The system will be hosted by existing Commercial partners 2and7 Limited who are working with Beautiful Minds to revamp the way in which supporters access information about the club. Ged Connolly-Thompson, Managing Director of 2and7 Limited, said "This is a great opportunity for our company to further support the remarkable progress at Featherstone Rovers. By working with other business partners, we are supporting the club in listening to their fans and replacing the existing web site with one that is far easier to use and which does justice to the esteem in which the club is held."
